What I Wore to my Internship this Week:

What I did at my Internship this Week:
This week at my internship I spent a lot of time giving Gretta, our outside mannequin, a make over! I went to Michaels and picked out flowers then made her a bouquet for a head! I also got to see several vintage designer bags be brought into the store for consignment and learn how to check for authenticity and properly price them. School this Week:
I had my first test for Technological Catastrophes this week so I spent A LOT of time studying for it! I calculated that I only need to make a 75 on the test to still be able to get an A or a 50 on the test to still be able to pass (I always calculate because it calms my nerves lol). I got to the test on time but then STRUGGLED to find parking so actually ended up late, but it did not matter in the end. I ended up making an 80 so I am super happy about that!
What I did During my Free Time this Week:
Monday I actually got the day off so I started my day by eating lunch with my friend Braeden! Funny story, I asked her where she wanted to eat and she responded “Pie Hole.” I read Pie Hole, and instantly thought about Moon Dog and about how I have only been there a few times but it makes sense that Braeden would want to go there because she typically picks places I don’t normally go and then I went into all these thoughts about how my boyfriend at the time always argued that going there with my Dad and Paige and one of his friends was our “first date” but I did not agree because what happened was I had to go to my grandmothers church for an event and had said I would meet him at TGIF (a lame downtown music event every Friday in the summer) after I was done but then he had already left so my parents suggested that I call him and ask him to go eat with us so that’s what I did and I didn’t consider it our first date because we went to the movies the weekend after without parents so I considered that our first date but he thought Moon Dog was and was so excited when I called- so yeah. My brain went straight to that stream of conscious tangent when Braeden said Pie Hole as if she had said Moon Dog. And the thing is, I eat at Pie Whole ALL THE TIME. So what was I even thinking? I was sitting at Moon Dog on the phone with her “I’m here” “I’m here too,” not at the same place. Lol. Then I went to Alexander Brooke because my best friend Ashley works there so I did some try on stories for them and chatted with her and then our one and only local photographer came in because he borrows their clothes for photo shoots and he saw me, for the first time with my short hair and loved it and asked me to come to shoot with him! Thursday I studied for my test that was Friday, and Friday I headed to Raleigh for the weekend! I took my test and made an 80! (All I had to make was a 75 to still be able to make an A in the class so I am more than happy with that). Then we ate Mexican food Friday night, I went to the mall on Saturday (& vlogged!), then we got Cookout milkshakes and watched the new Black Mirror with Miley Cyrus in it (love Miley but not the best Black Mirror, in my opinion), and Sunday we just hung out and ate Penn Station then I went home!

What a Bought this Week:
Wayyyy too much. But you see, I listed my Lilly in a Lill Resale group on Facebook, and I’ve actually sold quite a bit, so I used that money. Also, I found out I will be going to the beach for a few days with my Dad’s side of the family next week, so I HAD to stock up on new swimsuits to shoot for new content! AND I went to Raleigh so OBVIOUSLY, I HAD to go to the mall. Everything I purchased is in the college below- click the individual images below to shop! What I’ve Been Watching this Week (TV & YouTube Addict Here!!):
This week I again, continued rewatching America’s Next Top Model but a new Good Trouble also came out so I watched that as well! I also got into a bit of YouTube and watched some Ryland and Shane, Shane and Jeffery, Danelle Hallan, and Kendall Rae! I also listen to Kendall Rae and her husband Josh’s podcast called Mile Higher Podcast every week. I can’t remember if I have mentioned it on the blog yet or just YouTube, but they talk about true crime, conspiracies, unexplained phenomenon, and also history topics that are not typically talked about!
A Few Thoughts I’ve Been Having:
All I have been thinking recently is how thankful I am I for the internship I have and that I was placed with such amazing people.
