Fall/Winter 2019 Trends

Today I am going to be sharing the current fall and winter 2019 trends! Everything is linked for you to easily shop by clicking the individual images in the slideshow below. Thank you so much to everyone who shops through my links- it allows me to earn a small commission doing what I love at no additional cost to you!

Leather Everything

This season I have been seeing leather literally EVERYWHERE. Leather shirts, jackets, skinny pants, trousers, joggers, wide-leg pants, clutches- you name it!

Clutches

There’s one famous clutch that is taking over right now: the Bottega Veneta Pouch. Well, its dupes are taking over at least. I’ve found a great dupe from Amazon that comes in multiple sizes and another from Shein that is only $14. I’ve also just been seeing large clutches in general and I love this quilted one from Zara.

Cleated Boots

If you watched my Forever 21 Try on Haul, you would have seen a pair of these that I purchased. They’re like a Chelsea style bootie, but more chunky. They’re fun to style with more feminine looks since they are a little edgier and it makes a great contrast!

Headbands

Taking major inspo from the headband queen herself, Blaire Waldorf, this season. The black padded headbands have been a thing for about a year now, but the trend has been taken to another level- and Blaire would love it. Stores like ASOS and Zara have been making the cutest crown-like headbands that make a huge statement and transform any outfit. I personally don’t know if they look that great on me, but someone else pointed out that they don’t really look great on anyone; they’re just a fun, high-fashion piece.

Pearls

Pearls always take me back to middle school because around that time I was starting to pick out all my own clothes and create my own style and I LOVED anything with pearls. Now pearls always remind me of all those memories and the days shopping spent with my best friend Aggie. Anyways, PEARLS ARE BACK! If you’ve been keeping up with me on YouTube, you know how real my obsession is. I love the feminine and chic and classic look of pearls and have found so many great pieces!

Tweed

Like I said, Blaire Waldorf obsessed. And I’m not even rewatching Gossip Girl right now, but obviously I should be. I think that tweed is always a great look for fall and winter, especially around the holidays. I wore a houndstooth tweed-style skort on Thanksgiving and loved it! Now I have a red, shift-style tweed romper coming that I hope to style for the holidays!

PU

Prada came out with these amazing PU or patent leather boots this season and it kicked off a whole new trend. Nasty Gal has some great dupes of their boots. I am having a hard time finding the tall version, so I have linked the booties for you. Either are great for dressing up during the holiday season and could even be worn out with a sparkly dress for new years!

Blazers

Blazers have been around for a minute and while they’re not the most groundbreaking trend, I don’t think their time has quite passed. Tan blazers are perfect for layering in the fall and I’ve seen tons of blazer-style sparkly dresses for the holidays!

Feathers

Feathers is a trend we started seeing during Fall Fashion Week this tear and I think the holidays are the most wearable time for this trend. I’ve seen feather detailing on corset tops, bodysuits, two-piece sets, jumpsuits, dresses- even pajamas with feather cuffs!
