Gift Guide for Him: What I have Gifted before//My Picks!
Why are boys so difficult to shop for If you are like me, then you have a boyfriend that is literally impossible to shop for. I do not know how I have made it through four birthdays and, this Christmas, four Christmas holidays without completely losing my mind from trying to shop for him. The thing is, me and Doug are very different. He is not the kind of guy that likes all these clothes and (manly) accessories like I do, which makes it difficult for me to imagine what he would want. He always says “fishing stuff,” but will never show me anything specific. For some reason, he just…

Christmas Wishlist Ideas
Things I have been Eying this Year: 1. Target Cheetah Booties/Charming Charlie’s Cheetah Booties If you read my Fall Trends Look Book post, then you know that cheetah print has been super on trend this season. This year, Sam Edelman has obviously been killing it. They came out with these cheetah booties that everyone has been loving, but Charming Charlie’s has nearly the same pair for again, a fraction of the cost. Target also has an adorable option! 2. Moscato and Monograms Sherpa Pullover These sherpa pullovers have been popular for years, and rightfully so. Have you ever felt one?? They are SO soft! The “name brand” version is from True Grit,…

Black Friday Tips//What I Bought
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and you know what that means- so are the sales!! I went black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping for the first time ever last year and I had an amazing experience! None of the horror stories of people ripped items out of your hands or pushing you down to get to an item first. Don’t get me wrong, it was extremely crowded at some points, but it was worth it! 1. Do your Research My main and most important tip is to do your research. By this I mean know what stores are having the best sales, what items you want to try to score from that store,…

Thanksgiving Look Book
Today I am sharing four different outfits I would wear for Thanksgiving! There are more dressy looks as well as casual outfits. If you did not know, the blog is currently about a year old and the first look book I ever did was for Thanksgiving! I love all of these looks, but I have a different one in mind that I believe I am going to wear this year. If you want to see that look, make sure you are following me on Instagram, @brightestofthebunch, because I will probably post it Thanksgiving day! This first look is one of the more casual outfits I have chosen. Here I am…

Fall Trends Look Book
If you enjoy this post and want to see more trendy fall looks, check out this video: FALL TREND LOOK BOOK//HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTS. In the first look I am styling a gold corduroy jumper dress that gives the same affect as the overall trend, but does not look as childish! Don’t get me wrong, I love the overall trend and have a black overall dress I love to wear for game day. All I am saying is, if you want to try out the trend but do not think full on overalls are exactly your thing, this is the perfect option for you. This dress has a lower…

Bean boots, flannels, vests; what more could you want!? Fall is by far one of my favorite season to dress for! In the colder months, I find myself continuously going for pretty much the same staple pieces I do every year. Today, I am sharing my top ten fall essentials and they are each linked in their title! L. L. Bean Boots L.L. Bean boots are BY FAR the most essential fall item in my wardrobe. I could honestly go on and on about them forever. They are amazing quality, super comfortable, and match nearly every fall outfit! Unfortunately, they can be hard to get a hold of in the…

Prep for Less!
1. Do not be afraid to shop second hand: I know some people are afraid to shop at Goodwill because they think that all they will find is old dirty clothes that no one wants. Sometimes that is the case, but sometimes, you can find some amazing pieces for even better prices. The thing about Goodwill is, no matter what brand the item is, it is the same cost as every other item on its rack. For example, a Walmart top costs $3, and so would a Lilly Pulitzer top. I have found SEVERAL different Lilly Pulitzer items at my local goos will and I am sharing them all in…
