Off the Shoulder Trend
The Off the Shoulder trend is one that I cannot get enough of! I have several different off the shoulder pieces, but I decided to show this Lilly Pulitzer Enna top because it has not been featured before! Since I have been loving this trend so much, I am crossing my fingers that this trend will continue going strong! I will admit that an inconvenient side of off the shoulder tops is that with some of them, raising your arm is impossible! If you do, the top becomes an on the shoulder top, which was not the intended design.
As for this Lilly Pulitzer top- DO NOT PUT IT IN THE WASHER! It is cotton but mine has lost a few pompoms. I do not know if the washing machine caused this, and the missing poms poms are not very obvious, but I would only hand wash this just to be safe! Also, it is not the thickest material which is nice for hot summer days and makes this top wearable for multiple season, but you need to be careful about the undergarments you wear! Another thing is I know that many off the shoulder tops can sit on the shoulder just fine if you prefer it like that- this one cannot. It becomes too tight on the arm pits to wear it like this. This is not a downside to be because I do not desire to wear it like this but if you do, this top is not for you. I have linked the Enna and the Nita, which is similar, as well as a few other Lilly off the shoulder tops I am currently loving.
