My Thoughts on the Embroidery Trend!
You guessed it! Like I do every other trend, I love it!
I have been wanting some embroidered pieces for over a year now! I was even loving the trend so much last year that I based the outfit I made at an NC State University Summer camp all around it! You can read all about my experience here: My Experience: STEP and NC State has also published it on their website! Anyways, to get back to the point, we got to do trend research in the lab before beginning our clothing item, and the trend I decided to focus on was embroidery! Check out the post I linked to see what I made!
Anyways, like I said, I have been wanting an actual clothing piece with embroidery for over a year now! I recently made a purchase from Romwe and am planning to feature every item in a post where I talk about the shipping time, fit, cost, quality, and my entire experience shopping from this wholesale site; but for now I will share one of the two embroidery pieces I bought!
I love the embroidery trend but I have one condition: the embroidery must be real. None of that printed on fake embroidery- it must be made out of actual thread. I was so excited and surprised to see that this item features real threads because of how cheap it was (under $20)!
Another reason this one is my favorite because of the amazing details that are featured both on the front of the dress and on the back! I always feel like items look cheap when they only have the pattern or detail on the front. Although this piece is cheap, this attention to detail makes it look way more expensive than it is!
I also love that the embroidery features so many colors and is so bright and fun! Even though this dress is long sleeve, the fabric is light and does not cling! Also, it is not see through either! Lastly, I love the low V in the front! It is skinny enough that it is not too revealing and it is very flattering!
