Lace Up Trend

Yet another trend that has made its way back around! I remember when I was little I had an Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie with the lace up detail and absolutely hated the lace up part! I thought it made me feel like a pirate or something! I plan to do a post all about my style evolution, inspired by @pastelnpinkblog on Instagram,, soon! I guess you could say that the trend has grown on me! I actually have two dresses and one top with this detail! I bought the first dress over a year ago- it was the first current item I had seen! Around this time last year I was beginning to branch out into a more trendier style and less preppy- and this was one of the first trends I tried!

Long story short, I love this trend! As I have stated before, I love most trends because I am open to trying out all different types of fashion! This trend is a fun one because it is an easy way to add a special detail to a casual outfit! It is also the perfect way to show a little skin without being too revealing!
