Fashion Favorites
It’s been a minute since I have shared my current favorite fashion pieces I continuously go back to and many of them have changed so its time for an update! Most of these items are more trendy pieces that I’ve been using as a simple way to make my outfits more stylish!
Accessories: The three accessories I have found myself wearing the most recently are my pearl hair clips, initial necklace, and gold chunky hoops. The pearl clips are SO on trend and I have found them at the best price: three clips for $15! The initial necklace is a $15 dupe I picked up back in November for the Celine bamboo initial necklace that comes in at around $600. I picked up the chunky hoops in both gold and silver over the summer from H&M and have loved them ever since. Hoops are a great way to take your outfit up a notch and look a little more dressed without effort.
Levis: I picked up a pair of straight-leg Levi’s with a seam down the front over the summer from TJ Maxx and loved the fit, but was not quite sure what shoes to style them with, which brings me to…
Dad Shoes: I received a pair of Madden Girl white chunky sneakers in November and pretty much never wore them because I didn’t know what to style them with. Shorts were too out of season, dresses seemed too bold, and skinny jeans made me look disproportionate. A few weeks ago I rediscovered the Levi jeans mentioned above from the depths of my closet and decided to pair them with these sneakers just to try it out because we were having one of those eighty-degrees in February days where I had no idea what to wear. Completely to my surprise, I loved the pieces paired together and have continuously gone back to them since.
Turtlenecks: I have recently loved turtlenecks because I love the way they pair with my new (ish) short hairstyle! I’ve been wearing a basic black one on repeat but have also been obsessed with this neon green one because it is the perfect way to style the neon trend!
Purse: I have been obsessed with my Sam Edelman Reagan cross body because it has two separate compartments so I can put my camera in one and my wallet and keys in the other. It even has a back pocket for easy access to my phone.
Spanx: Another pair of pants I have been loving styling my sneakers with are my Spanx faux leather leggings. I have the pebbled version, which is screen printed and not a raised material, just in case I haven’t already made that clear. I got a size small in these and honestly could probably have gone with an XS also. Although these are more expensive, they are one of the most raved-about products in the blogging industry and are a great staple to invest in. I recently did a “How to Style Faux Leather Leggings” video that I will link at the bottom of this post, but I genuinely believe you cannot go wrong styling these leggings and that they are the perfect way to dress up an outfit while still feeling comfortable.
