3 Different Ways to Dress up Jeans for School
When a follower requested this post, I was a little stuck. I guess to me, jeans are sort of dressy. Do not get me wrong, some jeans are definitely casual. What I mean is, I pair denim with everything and anything. Maybe it is just because of the part of the South I have grown up in.
I believe that jeans can be paired with any top, but today I will share my most dressed up looks that are paired with jeans! The jeans I am sharing in this post are Abercrombie High Rise Ultra Skinny Jean Leggings and are on sale for only $30! As I mentioned in my HUGE BACK TO SCHOOL CLOTHING HAUL, I wear a 00 in Lilly Pulitzer/JCrew and the 0 fits me perfectly!
1. The Button Down
To me, this is the easiest way to make jeans look more professional. I recently wore this top for a video chat interview I had for an internship, so I believe this look is perfect for casual business events like that! I have paired this look with Jack Rogers and have linked some that are currently 50% off for you below!
My tote that I am carrying is from the Etsy Shop Moscato and Monograms and you can use my code OLIVIA98 for 20% off!
2. Lilly Top
I love this top. I paid way too much for it, but I love the fit of it. It is basically a Lilly Pulitzer shift cut in half- how could it get any better than that? It is the fabric that shifts are made of, has a solid structure, and has the most flattering v-neck! I would normally pair this top with a pair of patterned pants, but I wanted to show how versatile jeans can be and how easily you can dress them up! This look is perfect for an event that you want to look professional at but does not have as strict of a dress code! I wore this top for my Senior Pictures at school because in the photos you can only see my top so it looks like I am wearing a shift!

3. Chiffon Blouse
Okay, so you would not wear these heels to school. But a chiffon blouse like this one is the perfect way to dress up jeans for a less professional look! I bought this one at rue 21 and also have in it a white with black polka dot version that I love! I cannot wait to wear this this fall while I am at college!
