Hey Y’all! I had a suggestion from a follower to do a “Go To Outfits” post and I thought it was a great idea! Definitely let me know if you have any requests! I have 8 different situations listed below along with links to the exact/similar item! Enjoy!
1. Lazy Day:
Since I could go on and on with lazy day outfits, I have chosen my 3 favorite lazy day looks to share with y’all! One for chilly, winter days, one for hot, summer days, and one for those in between days!
This look is my go to outfit in the winter. For starters, I practically LIVE in my L.L. Bean Boots. Bean Boots, Pullovers, Leggings, and Vests are my every day winter attire. Here I am showing my Moscato and Monogram Flap Monogram Quarter Zip Pullover and I would pair it with my JCrew Factory Herringbone Vest and Leggings. Even though it is about 80 degrees out right now, I have been wearing this quarter zip every day since I received it last week because I love it that much! I promise, y’all will love it too! Use my code OLIVIA98 for 20% off your purchase from Moscato and Monograms!
Women’s Bean Boots by L.L.Bean, 8″ • L.L. Bean • $119
In the summer, I teach tennis lessons at my local Recreational Center so I practically live in work out clothes. However, I have put together my favorite CUTE lazy day outfit for y’all! I love this J. R. Crider’s tee because it matches all my Lilly shorts and you can get 10% off your J.R. Crider’s order with code OLIVIAN10 ! Also, if you email me or message me proof that you used my code, I will send you a surprise!
I live in my Lilly Pulitzer leggings they are by far my favorite purchase from Lilly! Want to know a secret? These are the kids leggings. Know what that means? These only cost $34 instead of the $98+ that the adults pair would cost. I you are a size two in Lilly or possibly even a four and down, I would recommend getting the minis leggings in an XL! I am pairing the leggings with my monogram tee from Moscato and Monograms that I received in one of their monthly Monogram boxes (I will link a post all about it here).

2. Shopping Day:
So in terms of practicality, it is probably best to wear jeans and things like nude undergarments when shopping so that when trying on new clothing you’re not stuck standing there in your underwear and a top because you wore a dress and you’re not left guessing if you’ll be able to get away with nude underwear with that white dress or if you’re going to have to wear a slip and when the slip is needed, let’s face it, you’re not buying the dress. It is also a good idea to wear comfortable shoes since major shopping trips require hours of wondering through the mall. In this case, this is your outfit:
I, however, for whatever reason, would rather feel fabulous walking around the mall with my shopping bags and suffer through any inconveniences and blisters. So this is the outfit I would choose:
Lily and Laura Bracelets
3. School Day:
In this look, I am wearing a Lilly Pulitzer Tshirt dress, my JCrew jacket, my Kendra Scott necklace and Elle’s, my Kate Spade Watch, and of course Lily and Laura Bracelets, which are linked above this number (use my code OlivaL+L for 20% off)
4. Night out with Friends:
The question is, where are we going on this night out🤔 I’ll let y’all decide and hopefully these looks are acceptable for any occasion! In the more casual version, the red top was $7 at rue 21 and unavailable online, but I have linked several similar ones below the photo!
Here is the more dressy version. This cheetah tank dress was only $5 at goodwill but it was originally from forever 21 and I recommend them for cheap going out clothes! I have, however, linked some super cute cheetah print options below the photo!
5. Casual Date Night:
This outfit may seem more like a daytime outfit, so I’m going to show you the perfect way to transition this look from day to night!
6. Fancy Date Night:
This I have had some trouble with because I am 18 and my fancy date night is prom and other than that the Mexican Restaurant down the street is as fancy as it gets (Don’t get me wrong, I love eating Mexican all the time), which is why I added “/special events.”
I wore this slip dress to watch the rest of the fashion show after I walked in one of my designs in the pre-show at the Redress Raleigh Runway Show an i feel like it would also be perfect for a fancier date night!
7. Weddings/High School Formals:
Most people would not put these events in the same category, but I happen to have worn this Lilly Pulitzer shift to a High School Formal and a wedding and have found that Lilly Pulitzer shifts can be worn on multiple occasions and even dressed down if desired.
Interview outfits can be hard for us young adults that are just now entering the real world and I specifically decided to include this one because one of my very good friends was just recently asking me for advice on what to wear for an interview and I was so happy I was able to help her. I have been taught that for interviews and presentations, it is best not to wear wild prints, sleeveless tops/dresses, bulky jewelry that will jingle a lot, low cut tops/short, revealing skirts, or strong perfume. It is also essential that Navy and Black are NOT paired together, which is the number one rule in my fashion book with the exception of Bean Boots. This is the outfit I wore for my senior project. I consists of a black pencil skirt, black tights, black flats, and a blouse with a neck tie. It looks professional, and it WASN’T expensive. The top and skirt are both from Forever 21 an therefore under $20 (the exact skirt is linked below and under $10!), I also wore tights are from Walmart but my dog ripped them so they are not photographed.
